FAQs
How much do you charge?
I charge on a project-by-project basis. The cost will depend on the scope and complexity of the project, as well as the time and resources required. Once we’ve discussed the project in detail and I have a good idea of what it will entail, I can send you a quote with a breakdown of what’s included.
How do you generally work with clients? What’s your typical process?
It all depends on the project and how you like to work. We can have an initial call to discuss your needs, or you can send me a project brief with all the details. Once we’ve agreed on an approach, I’ll give you a quote. If both parties are happy to move forward, we’ll sign a contract and I’ll get to work!
I have a niche content request that’s not listed on your “Services” page. Can I send it your way?
Absolutely. I have experience creating a variety of different content beyond what’s listed on my “Services” page and in my portfolio— including quizzes, PDF reports, tutorials, and educational short courses. I’m happy to try my hand at anything that involves writing! Just send me a message and we can discuss your needs further.
What kinds of clients do you work with?
Essentially anyone who needs content. This includes start-ups, fellow freelancers who want to grow their business through content, large corporations, educational organizations, and anything else in between.
Are you qualified to translate content from German into English?
I’m not a qualified translator by trade, but I am fluent in German and have some translation experience. I have a bachelor’s degree in German and spent part of my Erasmus year working as a translation intern. I’m not qualified to translate legal documents, but can translate and localize marketing materials from German into English.
Do you write in US or UK English?
It’s entirely up to you! I’m a UK native but have spent most of my career writing in US English, so I’m well-versed in both. I’ll adapt to your style guidelines.
